I Made a Music Video Entirely with AI — No Humans Involved
Lyrics, music, visuals, editing—all AI‑generated. It took three days. Here’s my process, tools, prompts, and lessons learned.
Idea: Can AI Make a Music Video Alone?
With video generation AI booming, I wondered: could I make a complete music video using only AI tools? From song to visuals, no manual editing.
Step 1: Suno for Music
Prompt: “dream pop, ethereal female vocals, nostalgic about summer”. Suno v4 generated a full song in minutes. Exported as MP3.
Step 2: Runway for Visuals
Split lyrics into scenes. Used Runway Gen‑3 to generate 5‑second clips based on prompts like “sunset on the beach”, “city lights”. Got 12 clips.
Step 3: CapCut Auto‑Edit
Imported audio and clips into CapCut, used “auto beat” to sync visuals to music. Added subtitles and exported.
Result & Thoughts
The final MV isn’t pro quality, but it’s cohesive and exceeds expectations. Biggest issue: occasional warped human figures. Still, friends were impressed.
AI won’t replace creators, but creators who use AI will replace those who don’t.
Add motion descriptions like “camera pan” or “slow motion” to prompts. Reroll a few times to get the best clip.
