I Made a Full Song with AI That’s Now on Spotify — Here’s How

✍️ 影音栏目🕒 March 25, 2026📖 7 min read🔥 热门

From lyrics to melody, mixing to mastering, I used AI tools to create an original single and released it on streaming platforms. This post covers the tools, prompt tricks, and copyright gotchas.

Why I Wanted to Make Music with AI

I’m not a musician—can’t play guitar to save my life—but I’ve always wanted my own original song. When I discovered Suno and Udio, I got hooked.

Lyrics: ChatGPT + My Own Tweak

I asked ChatGPT to write English lyrics about “summer memories” with a verse‑chorus‑bridge structure. I changed a few words to improve rhyme. AI lyrics are a bit generic, but they work.

Melody: Suno First, Then Udio Refinement

I fed the lyrics to Suno with a “pop rock” style. The vocal sounded a bit robotic. Then I used Udio’s “remix” feature to re‑generate the vocal in an “acoustic” style—much more natural.

Mixing: LALAL.AI + BandLab

I used LALAL.AI to separate vocals from instrumentals, then added reverb and EQ in BandLab (free, web‑based). Made the track sound fuller.

Copyright Notes

Both Suno and Udio’s free tiers grant you ownership for commercial use, as long as you credit “generated by AI”. I added that in the Spotify credits and so far no issues.

AI music isn’t about replacing musicians; it’s about letting regular people experience the joy of creation.

💡

Experiment with style prompts! “Dreamy, ethereal” and “powerful, driving” yield totally different results. Don’t give up after the first try—reroll until you find one that clicks.
